UPDATE:
I will receive:
100 from *Pharaoh-Ink
A sketch from *Pharaoh-Ink
A journal feature from *PutYourBraveFaceOn
Thanks everyone!
Then I heard your voice as clear as day,
And you told me I should concentrate,
It was all so strange,
And so surreal,
That a ghost should be so practical.
- Only If For A Night by Florence + the Machine
This is my entry for *Pharaoh-Ink's Halloween Contest. Basically, you had to draw one of your OCs dressed up as a monster. I chose my character Hind because, not only is she a badass, but because I wanted to see her as a ghost.
This is my first digital piece in a really long time - so any feedback is greatly appreciated.

I really like the overall composition of the piece, the colors, the shading contrast, but I begin to get lost in the focus of the piece a little when it comes to the colors. The yellow of the mirror draws me right to it instead of the woman. Maybe this was the purpose, but all the same, I wish I'd been drawn more to her.
Also, the proportions on her head are just a little strange to me, though I do like her hands and shoulders and neck; very apropriate. The deer horns and ears also look very good. I just think that it's the eyes and the length of her upper head that threw me off. Otherwise, the whole piece is very nicely composed and I really like the balance of dark and light. Keep it up!
